OfferZen’s Mission
OfferZen is a tech talent marketplace by developers for developers. We’ve been working on our mission to help software makers unlock their potential for five years now. At our core, we’re about matching top talent with exciting opportunities in tech, but this manifests in a multitude of ways:
We’ve invested heavily in the local tech ecosystem from the start – first in South Africa and now also in the Netherlands. From connecting software makers through local maker evenings and tech events to sharing content created by software makers in the community – we want to help developers thrive in their tech careers.
The State of the Software Developer Nation Survey
That’s also why we regularly create resources using both our platform data and input from the tech community. We want to give software makers access to the information they need to be successful in their careers. An example of this is the 2019 State of South Africa’s Software Developer Nation Report based on the survey responses of over 4000 developers.
This year, we want to extend our efforts to release a localised report on software developers in the Netherlands and make all anonymised data open-data.
We strongly believe that information and transparency is key to helping people understand their role and place in the community that they form part of. We believe that this is one of the most valuable things that we can share with the Dutch tech community.
