Our Engineering Processes

We follow an Agile Software Development Methodology extended with DevOps practices.

Recruiting Process

The recruiting process takes on a multi-phase approach. We start of by evaluating and selecting a few CVs and giving those candidates a take-home pre-interview coding excercise to submit verfore the face-to-face interview. The candidate can submit their code whenever they are ready. Usually, we give them around 1-2 weeks to complete the exercise, however, we will start evaluating the code as the candidates submit. If we like your code we will invite you for an informal interview.

The interviews will be a good an informal chat between passiontate developers. We're looking to have good debates about techniques, tools, challenges, and approaches to software development. The interviews will be guided with open-ended questions to kickstart the debates. The interview panel will consist of fellow developers from the team you will be joining. We believe developers must inteview developers. (Bring your own computer)

Finally, after the face-to-face interview we will invite you to participate in a pair-programming exercise with one of the developers. In the pair-programming exercise we will choose one of the various katas publicly available.

If we like you, we will make you an offer within 48 hours following the interview process. Once the candidate accepts the offer the HR manager will prepare the employment documentation and liaise with the successful candidate.
